Over 15 years ago I was invited to become the conductor of the then West Pt. Grey Community Band. Recently our members voted to change our name to the Vancouver Concert Band to better reflect that we serve the entire city. We most often perform at community events and care facilities for the elderly but in 2010 were invited to play in one of the venues set up during the Winter Olympics. Over the years it has been a real pleasure to conduct a wide variety of material with such a wonderfull group of people/musicians.
